This is a micro lot from Hacienda La Bastilla to the north-west of Nicaragua. This lot was harvested early this year from the micro farm La Cocina. La Cocina was planted in 2010 with Catuai variety so this is one of the first few serious crops from the young trees.
The plantation lies on North facing steep slopes. The soil is volcanic, making it rich in nutrients – ideal for coffee cultivation.
